Shipping policy

We ship Monday–Friday. Orders placed by 1pm are usually shipped the same working day, though during busy times (sales, promotions, etc.) we may need a little longer. We guarantee that all weekday orders placed by 1pm will be shipped by the next working day (unless otherwise stated on our website).

UK Express Mainland
Orders are shipped with DPD or APC PREMIUM. Delivery usually takes 1–2 working days once dispatched, depending on your location. You’ll receive email/text updates with a 1–2 hour delivery window on the day. All shipments are tracked and insured.

Remote Areas
Orders to the Scottish Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland are shipped with alternative couriers. These deliveries are tracked, insured, and usually take 2–5 working days depending on location.

Remote Area Deliveries
Orders going to the following postcodes will be shipped with an alternative courier. These parcels are fully tracked and insured, and delivery usually takes 2–5 working days, depending on your location:

  • Scottish Highlands: AB36–38, AB41–46, AB51–56, FK17–21, IV1–39, IV52–54, IV63, KW1–14, PA21–40, PH15–18, PH19–26, PH30–41, PH49–50

  • Scottish Islands: HS1–9, IV40–51, IV55–56, KA27–28, KW15–17, PA20–24, PA41–49, PA60–78, PH42–44, ZE1–3

  • Northern Ireland: BT

Missed Deliveries
DPD now makes one delivery attempt. If you’re not in, your parcel will be sent to the nearest DPD Pickup Shop, where you’ll have 7 days to collect it. If it isn’t collected and is returned to us, we’ll happily re-ship it once you confirm your address and cover the return fee (£4.99) plus the new shipping cost.

Safe Place & Neighbour Deliveries
We require all orders to be delivered in person. If you choose delivery to a safe place or neighbour, this is entirely at your own risk. Strain Station cannot be held responsible for parcels that are lost or stolen in these circumstances, and refunds will not be issued.

Correct Address Details
Please ensure your shipping details are accurate. We cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, or extra costs caused by incorrect addresses. Shipping costs are non-refundable in such cases, and additional charges will be your responsibility.

Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled free of charge until dispatch. After dispatch, shipping costs are non-refundable and you’ll be responsible for return shipping. If you wish to cancel after delivery, please follow our returns process.

Delivery Services
As of 08/07/2025, we use DPD Express and APC PREMIUM for UK mainland. Next-day delivery is our aim but not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to traffic, depot backlogs, or courier issues outside our control.
